ABOUT HALAL LUDO

Everyone is welcome
at the board.

Laughter, friendly competition and a good time with family and friends. Here is why we built Halal Ludo, and what its name means to us.

01 OUR STORY

Why we built it?

We built Halal Ludo to bring people together for laughter, friendly competition and a good time with family and friends.

It is a game for people of every faith, culture and background. Everyone is welcome at the board.

02 THE NAME

Why “Halal”?

Halal is an Arabic word that means permissible. Keeping that in mind, we made sure to remove/replace any element that is not Halal.

No dice
No betting, gambling, stakes or entry fees
No cash prizes
No buying Points with money
No loot boxes or random paid rewards
No typed chat, only ready-made quick messages in Friends rooms

Points and Trophies celebrate your progress. They have no money value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.

The name “Halal Ludo” expresses our intention to create thoughtful, family-friendly entertainment built on fair play and respect. That intention goes beyond the spinner. It guides what we include in the game, how we treat our players, and our commitment to keeping money out of the game.

The name describes our intention for the game. It is not an official certification.

03 FAIR AND CLEAR

Know who you are playing with

In Arena and Team Up, your opponents are AI, and the game always shows it. In Friends rooms, you play only with people you invite, or whose room code you join. Pass N Play brings everyone together on one phone.

04 THE SPINNER

Why a spinner?

We chose a number spinner instead of dice for friends and families who prefer an alternative to dice.

Every number from 1 to 6 has the same chance on every spin. Spin the wheel, move your goti's/pieces and share the excitement: all the fun of Ludo, played a different way.

05 A GENTLE REMINDER

Make time for what matters

Enjoy a match, share a laugh and make memories, but let the game fit around your life.

When it is time for prayer or worship, pause and give it your attention. Please do not neglect your obligatory prayers. The next match can wait.
